Featuring the hottest up-and-coming entertainers from the region, the fourth Sundown Festival is proud to present this year’s line-up comprising Korean boy band BToB, Hong Kong star Raymond Lam, Taiwanese-American Mandopop singer Anthony Neely, J-rock band Alice Nine, and Chinese songbird Liu Li Yang.

We caught up with the performers — except Lam, who was held up with filming — at a press conference earlier today, and were charmed by BToB’s boyish good looks, Anthony Neely’s sense of humour, Alice Nine’s cool rocker outfits and Liu Li Yang’s saccharine sweet smile.

With today being Min Hyuk of BToB’s birthday, the group told of how his fans welcomed him with gifts and celebratory greetings at the airport and how he was thankful for that especially after having spent most his birthday on a plane.

Food seemed to be a hot topic with the artistes as Anthony Neely talked about an upcoming baseball movie he’s working on and got the crowd excited when he asked for suggestions of local food he should try in his time here. “Char kway teow!”, someone yelled. “Chocolate down? Traffic down? Is that an American dish?”, he replied before realising what it was when someone else explained in Mandarin.

Alice Nine also mentioned that they have not tried any of our local delicacies yet, but were really interested in sampling chilli crab.

Check out the pictures below to see what went down at today’s Sundown Festival 2012 press conference.

Catch these acts at the Sundown Festival 2012 on December 1 at the F1 Pit Building from 5.30pm. Tickets are priced from $88 and are available at SISTIC. For more information, visit www.sundownfestival.sg.
