"Inside the Subject"
Bani Haykal's research is an abstract that looks into perceptions, relevance and culture of sound and music in Singapore coupled with fiction. Touching on philosophies of killing, power and social order, it is a mixed-media installation consisting of found objects, sound, sculptures, prose and music. This project is in collaboration with artists Angie Seah and Mohamad Riduan.

LAVA @the Libraries
The National Arts Council is proud to present Project LAVA, an initiative that aims at engaging audiences through visual art installations inspired by literary works. Held In partnership with the Housing & Development Board (HDB), National Parks Board (NParks) and National Library Board (NLB), Project LAVA hopes to inspire greater appreciation for the arts among Singaporeans, by featuring various public art installations in prominent locations around Singapore, such as Punggol Waterway and at seven community libraries.

Another Sunday Afternoon at Home Club
This local indie band first burst onto the scene in 2009, with their debut album The Uncanny Tree of Fractured Hearts: featuring the Peculiar Case of Janet Leno and other short stories offering listeners a collection of love songs. Since then, they've released a follow-up record called The Bookmarkin 2012, where they went down the darker and edgier route. Influenced by fellow indie rockers like Death Cab for Cutie and the Foo Fighters, this trio is set to deliver its own version of alternative pop and rock to Home Club.
