The latest addition to the Burberry Body family is finally here and it’s fronted by none other than model-of-the-moment Cara Delevinge.
The Burberry Body Tender is the latest fragrance in the Burberry stable and there is no one better than Delevinge to be the face of its ads.
If the sexy scent that is Burberry Body, is synonymous with the sultry face of the campaign - Rosie Huntington Whitely, then light and refreshing Burberry Body Tender is, in the same effect, synonymous with the girly face of the new campaign, Delevingne. 
The new eau de toilette boasts a refreshing fruity mix of scents – featuring top notes of fresh lemon and crisp apple, heart notes of English rose,white jasmine and sandalwood, as well as amber and musk for the base notes.
The scent is also presented in a feminine pale pink bottle that is reminiscent to that of Burberry Body. The rose-coloured bottle is also multi-faceted, showcasing the architectural edge of the bottle.
Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, says, “Burberry Body was always about creating something that captures all the different characteristics of the Burberry girl.”
He adds, “With Body Tender, we wanted to explore and bring out the softer, more playful sides of her – capturing this light femininity in the scent as well as the campaign. Cara’s natural beauty and vibrant energy lit up alongside London’s magnificent architecture.”
The 21-year-old British model seems to be the perfect fit for the scent and brand, having also front the recent Burberry Beauty Ad campaign and continues to walk the shows for Burberry Prorsum. It’s only fitting that her first fragrance campaign ad is with the Burberry family.
We’re sure we’re not the only ones drawn to this very picturesque campaign ad, shot by none other than famed photographer Mario Testino, under the creative direction of Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Bailey, on the River Thames in London.
