Victoria Beckham says fake tan is "very ageing".

The busy mother-of-four spilled the beans on how she keeps her skin looking young and fresh.

The 38-year-old has learnt to ditch self tan as she's grown older.

"I don't wear fake tan anymore," Victoria told Hello! magazine."Sometimes I've been turned orange but that's definitely a look from my past. Being overly tanned is very ageing and, dare I say it, a bit footballer's wife. Embrace your natural colour!"

Victoria hailed leading skincare consultant Dr. Harold Lancer as having the most effective range of facial products. As well as Victoria, the leading Hollywood dermatologist counts celebrities such as Denise Richards and Beyoncé Knowles as his clients.

"In the bathroom, I always use Dr. Lancer skin products," Victoria revealed. "He's a dermatologist I saw when we were living in Los Angeles."

Dr. Lancer's line of exclusive products help people with every type and colour of skin achieve a radiant glow, but this doesn't come cheap.

As well as this expensive range, the singer-turned-designer listed a reasonably priced body moisturiser as one of her favourite products.

"The body cream I use is a really simple, inexpensive body moisturiser by Weleda," she said. "It's really, really thick and I slather it on."

To keep her famous pout in check, Victoria uses Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour cream for daily lip hydration. She also rated cosmetics company Stila's glazes as her preferred lip colour product.

"I love those Stila lip glosses, the ones that you twist and click," she said. "They smell and taste nice." - © Cover Media
