Fashion site Refinery29 has tested the latest product from Calvin Klein -- a perfumed nail varnish.
In a new video for Refinery29, journalist Annie Tomlin tried out a new nail polish linked to an actual perfume rather than a generic scent or smell.
The new polish, which is infused with the scent of CK One Summer, a citrusy summer fruit cocktail, comes in two shades and is "a little more grown up" than some of the other scented nail polishes currently on the market, according to Tomlin.
There's none of that nasty acetone smell either, and "I'm definitely not going to get a perfume headache," she adds.
While it seems to be the brand's only perfumed nail polish at the moment, apparently the brand did previously release a CK One-scented topcoat back in the 1990s. Meanwhile, beauty giant Revlon has an established scented nail enamel line, and last year Dior released two rose-scented shades of nail varnish to celebrate the Garden Party beauty collection.
Available at Ulta from May onwards, the CK One Summer Limited Edition Long Wear + Shine Nail Color will retail at US$14.
