Colour is key this year if you want to make a statement with your eyes.
From dazzling cobalt blue at Stella McCartney to punchy pink at Donna Karan, rainbow lashes have been the stars of the beauty show.
That’s not to say that eyeshadows have taken a back seat. In fact, in terms of texture and hue, shadows have been more experimental than ever.
But if you’re looking to make an impression this season, why not ditch the black mascara in favour of a bold alternative.
“Coloured mascara is a great way to inject colour into your look,” says top make-up artist Adam Burrell.
“YSL has stunning blue and purple mascaras, or use MAC's mascara mixing medium and any pigment to create your own coloured mascara,” he recommends.
Here are some super-bright rainbow inspired mascaras to look out for:
Barry M Mascara in Pink
Channel those Donna Karan runway models with a bold pop of pink with a couple of coats of this lengthening, thickening mascara.
Diorshow Mascara in Azure Blue
Highly-pigmented and gorgeously volumising, try this luxe lengthening mascara for Stella McCartney-inspired peepers.
Lancome Hypnose Dolls Eyes Mascara So Purple
Enriched with nylon powders and waxes, this is a brilliantly volumising mascara which adds a pop of purple for a subtle nod to the hypercolour trend.
