Lips
Ruby red lips are the only colour to attempt when pulling off this trend. You want a soft pillowy effect so go for an intense shade as seen in Chanel's Rouge Noir or MAC's Ruby Woo shade. Alternatively try a stain in combination with a lip pencil to exaggerate the Cupid's bow and then blend in.
Eyes and face
