Balmain Ivoire is an update from the original 1979 Ivoire de Balmain scent — the last fragrance created by Pierre Balmain himself. Inspired by an unknown beauty he crossed paths with on the Paris Opera staircase, Ivoire was created to conjure images of romance.
With citrusy top notes of orange and mandarin essence powdered with violet leaves, floral middle notes of a jasmine, rose, ylang ylang and galbanum bouquet, and elegant base notes of vetiver, cedarwood, patchouli and vanilla, the new Balmain Ivoire pays homage to the original scent even with the reformulation.
