From candy-hued eyeshadows to sugary sweet lipsticks - pastels were all over the spring/summer runways.
But forget subtlety, this season’s pastels pack a punch.
At Peter Som's Spring/Summer 13 show, make-up artist Tom Pecheux blended yellow, orange and greens to create a powerful watercolour effect.
Meanwhile, at Dior, Pat McGrath used an aquamarine theme blending sea foam green and sky blue before topping off with intricate Swarovski crystals.
Fancy recreating the trend? Here are some beauty goodies that will help you get the look.
Lips:
For a perfectly pale pink pout try Illamasqua Lipstick in Liv or Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Arabesque. And if you’re feeling particularly spring-like, why not check out the flower-inspired Pink Lily and Lilac Rose glosses from Bobbi Brown.

Don’t be afraid to go bold with your pastels this season. Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio in Aperture and Sky is a nifty palate for creating a azure-inspired look.
