Known for her timeless elegance, Princess Grace Kelly was the inspiration to many a fashion house.
The Flora print now commonly spotted on a whole range of Gucci apparel and accessories was originally a specially commissioned scarf motif for the actress-turned-princess.
Gucci now pays homage to the Princess’ elegance and femininity again with Flora by Gucci 1966 EDP, a limited edition take on the Flora by Gucci fragrance from 2009. This latest scent opens with top notes of zesty bergamot and dark, spicy Bourbon pepper that lead into floral middle notes of peony and rose, before ending off in base notes of patchouli, vetiver and musk.
The bottle is a taller rendition of the classic Flora by Gucci vial and comes in a luxurious black silk pouch printed with the Flora motif.
Flora by Gucci 1966 EDP, $293, is available at Gucci boutiques in Singapore and the Gucci fragrance counter at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
