What: Too Faced Endless Summer 16-hour Long-wear bronzer is said to be a stay-all-day universal bronzer that can last up to 16-hours, thanks to the Double Bond Formula that combines the staying power of film formers and polymers with prolonged wear pigments.
The Buildable Bronze Pigments in the formulation allows the bronzer to be dusted all-over for an even bronze glow.
The Too Faced Endless Summer 16-hour Long-wear bronzer, retails for $40 at all Sephora outlets.
Review: In my opinion, looking pasty white during summer is definitely more of a faux pas than sporting a fashion item that was hot in the ‘80s – afterall, as they say, fashion comes in cycles.
So if you’re not a regular sun-shipper, and UV rays scare you more than sitting down for a screening of The Exorcist– a long-wear bronzer will definitely be your best friend this season.
I love the simple disc-like packaging with a huge mirror that is perfect for touch-ups during the day.
It’s also simple to use, just a little swirl around the palette with your blusher brush or a kabuki brush to pick up some colour, dust it all over evenly and you’re set – which is exactly what I did to add some colour to my face.
Alternatively, use a brush for contouring and highlight the features that you would like to draw some attention to.
What I really appreciated about this particular bronzer is the 16-hour longwear feature which is perfect for our climate. Even after a long 12-hour day in the office, the hue on my face didn’t look worse for wear and the golden bronze shimmer remained at the same intensity as it did before.
It also adheres to my skin well without streaking.
The slight shimmery tinge gave off a very natural sun-kissed glow which passes off as a fabulous tan on someone with a medium skin-tone like me.
One note of warning though – do dust off excess pigments picked up by the brush with a slight tap before applying it to your face or you may end up a shade darker than you’d like.
I also made the mistake of accidentally going over the same area twice, which made me look tanner on one side of my face and fairer on the other. Definitely not a good look.
So aside from the slight mishap, the bronzer definitely does its job that will bide you through summer even if you’re too tied up to hit the beach.
