Club Monaco ushers in Autumn Winter with first Instagram competition

Autumn Winter 2013 is a busy season for Club Monaco. The brand’s new collection re-works traditional autumn classics like turtlenecks and outerwear in modern shapes, colours and fabrics.

Pastel shades like pale pink and blue add a feminine twist and brighten up the traditionally Autumn Winter palette of black, white and camel. Floral and animal prints also break up the monotony of outerwear for a touch of whimsy.

This season also sees the debut of the Club Monaco Collection – this luxe line focuses on the brand’s classic pieces and reinterprets them in more luxurious materials like cashmere, silk and pima cotton in timeless colours of red, camel, black, white and grey.

On top of that, Club Monaco reaches out to Instagram lovers – and who isn’t one – by launching its first Instagram competition on its Facebook page. In line with the brand’s online platform Culture Club, a digital inspiration board, and its motto “Get inspired by what inspires us”, the campaign hopes to encourage creativity in Singapore.

To join the #CMGetInspired Photo Competition, Instagram fans must follow Club Monaco on Instagram and Facebook. Then, they can upload photos in various categories that reflect Club Monaco’s lifestyle pillars namely Art, Food, Fashion, Music and Travel – there will be a new theme each week – with the hashtag #CMGetInspired. Each category’s entries will be posted weekly on the #CMGetInspired tab on the Club Monaco Facebook page.

The #CMGetInspired Photo Competition spans five weeks from September 2 to October 3 2013. A panel of judges will pick the best image for the week. The weekly winner will walk away with a $300 Club Monaco shopping voucher and one overall winner will receive the grand prize of a Club Monaco shopping spree worth $1,000!
