Roast turkey and basted veggies wafting through the kitchen this time of the year may be good for the holiday spirit, but hellish on your hair.
Ma Chérie's new Winter Floral Hair Fragrance is formulated with what the Japanese haircare specialist calls champagne honey gelee, which lends the spray a silky texture that forms a protective veil around hair cuticles that also wards off the stench of greasy festive food.
The scent itself is feminine and fruity, with citrusy top notes of Valencia orange and ruby grapefruit simmering in a warm base of sandalwood and amber. Throw in a pretty pink gradient bottle and you've got a recipe for romance – after all, Ma Chérie means “my sweetheart” in French!
Ma Chérie Winter Floral Hair Fragrance, $16.90, is available exclusively at selected Watsons stores from December 5, 2013. For more information, visit www.shiseido.co.jp/macherie/index.html and follow the brand on Facebook.
