Now's as good a time as any to get really creative with your warpaint. herworldPLUS asks Collection Cosmetics Resident Makeup Artist Bobbie Ng to create four looks to try, each tailored for a different personality
Article:

If you've stuck with safe-for-office neutral eyes and lips for the past 11 months and counting, please, we urge you, shake things up a little for the holidays.

To ease you away from boring boardroom businesswoman to bold belle of the ball, British beauty brand Collection Cosmetics' Resident Makeup Artist and all-round style guru Bobbie Ng has conjured up four fabulous festive looks, each with its own distinct theme. Badger brushes on the ready? Let's get colourful!

Rock Chick

Bobbie says that Collection Cosmetics' Rock Chick is for the ladies with a penchant for patent leather leggings and thigh-high Doc Marts: "This look is all about the edgy girl who wants to show off her eyes. Wear this with attitude and boatloads of confidence!"

Step 1. Apply Collection Cosmetics' Lasting Perfection Concealer on the lids as a base prior to eyeshadow.
Step 2. Using the trio eyeshadow in Smoke Screen, daub the darkest shade on the socket in a winged out, tapering oval shape.
Step 3. Layer the silver shade on top of the socket. This will add a jolt of metallic and diffuse the inky harshness of the first eyeshadow.
Step 4. Getting as close to the upper lash line as possible, apply a thin line of Glam Crystals in No. 4 Hustle and No. 7 Rock Chick. This adds a really sexy jolt of glamour to the eyes.
Step 5. For maximum wattage, rim your lower lash line for a sexily smudged, morning-after vibe.
Step 6. Finish by curling and applying liberal lashings of Extreme Color Lengthening Mascara.

Pop Diva

This is a maximum-impact look with minimal effort – the beauty equivalent of a pop diva lip-synching on stage.

Step 1. Apply eyeshadow in Naughty and Nude. Using the lighter colour on the entire eye and the darker colour very close to the roots of the lashes.
Step 2. Apply a thick liner with a winged tip at the corner of the eyes.
Step 3. Apply lots of mascara, a quick swipe of a pretty pink lippie and you're done!

Electro Party Girl

Bobbie envisions the Electro Party Girl to be an enthusiast of sparkly disco balls and glitter-festooned heels: "Not afraid of experimenting with different sartorial styles, she also has the latest beauty trends at her manicured fingertips."

Step 1. Apply Lasting Perfection Concealer on eyelids as a base.
Step 2. Using the Bedazzled palette, apply a soft wash of gold shadow over the entire eyelid, and stipple on the purple hue on the socket.
Step 3. On the upper lash line, apply Collection Cosmetics' Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in Blue.
Step 4. Mix Glam crystals in Dancing Queen and Shaking It Up!, then apply the custom blend over the blue liner.

Dream Girl

Finally, if you're looking to bring your no makeup makeup to the next level, try on the Dream Girl for size. Bobbie says this is a subtle look that accentuates your features without screaming for attention. Master this look for post-celebratory, back-to-office days.

Step 1. Apply eyeshadow shades in Naughty & Nude, using the lightest colour on the entire eyelid. Line the upper lid with Fast Stroke Eyeliner in Brown.
Step 2. Apply lots of mascara. Line the lower lash line with Glam Crystals in Funk.
Step 3. Smile to locate the apple of your cheeks, and buff in Shimmer Shade in Blushalicious.
Step 4. For the lips, use Colour Pout Lipstain in Kiss and Lock n Hold Lipgloss in Twisted Disco.
