Swiss luxury brand Bally gets a real case of wanderlust for Spring Summer 2014. Inspired by Swiss photojournalist Hans Steiner’s famous elegant woman travellers, the brand’s collection for the new season revolves around the traveller’s wardrobe.
Broken down into two themes – City and Weekend – the pieces easily transit from city to weekend and showcase the pragmatic luxury signature style of Bally.
Bally Spring Summer 2014 ready-to-wear looks
Brilliant primary colours like red, yellow and blue are set upon the clean cut lines of the ready-to-wear collection. A Bally Spring Summer 2014 ensemble will allow you to go from Friday afternoon work meeting to a spur-of-the-moment weekend getaway without the need to change.
Accessories from Bally's Spring Summer 2014 collection
As for shoes and accessories, the fashion house has also employed the same primary colour palette for a decidedly warm weather aesthetic. The weaving technique “tressage” is used and this play of pattern on both the shoes and bags are decidedly tropical holiday worthy.

For those who prefer city vacations, Bally’s women’s line has “borrowed from the boys” for Spring Summer 2014. The Penny Loafer is a sleek and modern take on its men’s footwear in classic colours that are great for navigating the big city in.
Bally also introduces the Rain Heels this season. You will be glad you are wearing a pair of these court shoes should you get caught in a sudden thunderstorm. The rubberised leather upper is amazing splash-proof and will keep your feet dry in bad weather.
Bally's Travel Jacket
The Rain Heels’ perfect travel companion will be the new Travel Jacket. So named because of its ability to be folded and packed without any creasing – the Travel Jacket is made of Techo Suede that’s also water resistant and hand-filled with the finest goose down. Just bring it along wherever you go to stay warm and dry – the Bally equation of function, comfort and style.
The Spring Summer 2014 collection will be in stores from end February 2014 at Bally stores at #01-12 Ion Orchard, #B1-36/37 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Level 1 Takashimaya Department Store.
