Ladies torn between a lippie or a gloss, consider puckering up for the new year with Za’s latest hero product. Rich-Glam Liquid Rouge is said to offer the best of both beauty worlds: The glistening finish of a gloss and the full-on glamour and intense colour payoff of a traditional lipstick.
Offered in eight lipsmackingly luscious shades (swatches shown above) that are formulated to flatter Asian skintones, think of the product as having two complementary layers: A prismatic, pigmented base sealed in with a glossy, hydrating topcoat. Other lip-loving goodies include a moisturising vitamin E and collagen complex, as well as a lightly floral scent for a multi-sensorial experience.
Za ambassadors Emma Pei and Davika Hoorne – the former has walked for Dior at Paris Fashion Week, while Thai-Belgian Davika is a big name on Thai TV –make application look so easy, and it is, even for us normal folk.
For starters, the nifty doe-foot applicator (shown above) makes slicking on the product a cinch, and the softly tapered tip hugs the contours of your lips for even deposition of colour in one single swipe. For custom control, Za says you can dab your lips with tissue paper to augment the amount of shine without disturbing the underlying colour.
