The biggest blossom in the bouquet of Korean "flower men", innisfree global ambassador Lee Min Ho was flown into Singapore this week, to the festive cheer of his many dedicated admirers.
Here’s what went down. Prior to the press conference, the generous gent – girthed in a cornflower blue shirt and jeans, just so you know – dropped by the Singapore innisfree flagship store to cherry-pick some of his favourite products to create custom hampers for five of his fans. We have a feeling those Christmas box sets will remain sealed and treasured for a good amount of time ...
The following day, the man – in blue again, this time a fitted linen suit – emerged from behind the velvet ropes at Pan Pacific Hotel’s ballroom for a brief, if tantalising, press meet.
On the strangest gift he’s received, Lee Min Ho said it had to be a pre-registered mobile phone, which was devoid of content save for a number keyed into the contacts list, which he assumes must be the giver’s personal contact ...
Creepy anecdote aside, the preternaturally babyfaced Lee Min Ho said the most drastic thing he’s done in the name of beauty is … exercise. A safe answer if there ever was one, especially for an A-lister born and bred in the plastic surgery capital of Asia. In his defence, Lee Min Ho says he works out because his face is the first body part to get “fat” whenever he packs on the pounds. Cute.
As for what he slathers onto his mug when he’s lounging at home, Lee Min Ho credits innisfree’s Green Tea Seed Serum for his smooth skin – expect the hero product to sell out over the next few weeks. Head down to innisfree today for a look-see!
