Looks created by Estée Lauder's Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux for Derek Lam's Spring 2014 runway show
The high fashion and beauty circles are convening in a happy medium – makeup! We've seen Jason Wu partnering Lancome and Marc Jacobs releasing his own grooming line.
Now, Estée Lauder has announced that it has joined up with designer Derek Lam for a capsule colour cosmetics collection, slated for a Singapore release in February 2014.

The Derek Lam capsule collection, which will retail for $136, comes ensconced in a sensuously satin navy clutch and includes essentials like a similarly hued dark blue eyeliner,an inky mascara, a gorgeous bronze cream eyeshadow and a lush lip tint. Designed to take a woman from day to night, sweep on a smokier wash of shadow and switch from gloss to lipstick, and you're set for an evening out.

Lam's longtime backstage collaborator, Estée Lauder's Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux, said that the accessible collection was designed with contemporary women in mind: "Nobody has time to go back home to shower, to clean and rebuild the make-up. Girls like to add a bit of make-up to start their second part of the day and then the evening." And we agree!
The Estée Lauder Derek Lam collection will be available in February 2014 at the Estée Lauder Ion Orchard store. For more information on Estée Lauder, visit www.esteelauder.com.sg. You can follow the brand on Facebook and Twitter.
