The smell of sound now comes bottled for women. If you’re one for florals, your heart will sing to the beat of Burberry’s new Brit Rhythm for Women, which comes with a catchy chorus of orange blossom and sexy ambient lavender beats reverberating to a thumping baseline of velvety vetiver.
Packaging-wise, Brit Rhythm for Women is posh and punchy all at once, with its curvy carafe silhouette (reminding us very much of the whisky flasks young’uns would smuggle into an open-air concert) sprinkled with sexy studs arranged in Burberry’s instantly recognisable checked motif.
Fronting the fragrance is pouty lipped British model Suki Waterhouse (shown above), who can be seen at her smouldering best in the campaign vid below.
Now, we’ll be frank here: The campaign isn’t ground-breaking per se, featuring most of the familiar tropes associated with perfume ads: Wet hair, glistening skin, moody shots of backstage action.
What is noteworthy is Burberry’s impressive engagement with digital platforms, this time in the form of exclusive Brit Rhythm extras that fans can enjoy via QR codes and scented bottle-shaped “tattoos” that give you a chance to win VIP passes to upcoming live Burberry concerts.
