The former is a new CIA agent who has to protect the former agent-turned-traitor, while both fend for their lives while running from people after their lives.

Plot:
It’s a storyline pretty much every fangirl dreams about – having a hot male celeb fall in love with you. That’s the premise of this new Johnnie To flick with Louis Koo as the aforementioned hot male celeb who gets dumped and then heads to the mountains of Yunnan where he finds romance with a crazed fan, played by Sammi Cheng.

Plot:
Will playing the notorious first director of the FBI, J Edgar Hoover, land Leonardo Dicaprio the Best Actor Oscar which has eluded him for so long? With George Clooney in the running, we think not. But his performance in this biopic, directed by Clint Eastwood, has some critics saying it’s the best part of a movie which lacks in plot and realism.

Dui mian de nu hai kan guo lai ... If you grew up in the ‘90s in Singapore, you would be familiar with the ditty Girl Over There, Look Over Here by Malaysian singer Ah Niu. The kampung boy is as half of a mismatched couple – her family’s rich, his isn’t; she’s Cantonese, he’s Hokkien – and the funny stuff which happens after they decide to get married.

Even though we know Meryl Streep’s a phenomenal actress, we still don’t understand why an English actress wasn’t picked to play such a quintessentially British legend. This minor gripe aside, Streep predictably puts in an award-winning performance as Margeret Tatcher and the trials and tribulations of being the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Have you ever lamented the inevitable process of growing up and becoming an “adult”? We certainly have. And that’s why we can relate to Charlize Theron’s 37 year-old fiction writer character who decides to relive her younger days by returning to her hometown and her ex-boyfriend. One small hitch: He’s married with children. What follows is both funny and painful to watch as she tries to get him back, discovers a possible new love and finally accepts adulthood.
