Next up on our “Steal her street style” series – we have our eyes set on the style blogger of The Blonde Salad.

Don’t we all wish we had Chiara Ferragni’s multitasking skills? Besides juggling a full-time law degree, travelling the world and her eponymous shoe line, the Italian beauty still has the energy to turn out daily traffic stopping outfits for her successful blog The Blonde Salad.

There isn’t a look Ferragni won’t try. The blogger will pull out a girlie flippy dress on one day and on the next, be all motorcycle chic in leather pants. Ferragni has a sense of humour about fashion too - she’s always up to test driving a new pair of furry gloves. Be it boho chic or sleek sportswear, there’s not one trend she has not pulled off to great effect.

Despite this seemingly haphazard style, Ferragni does rely on a few key pieces. We show you how to steal The Blonde Salad’s style.

Standout outerwear

Ferragni usually allows one element of her outfit to do all the talking. At the recent fashion weeks, the standout piece is definitely the outerwear. Whether it’s a fringed gold bolero or embellished coat dress, the blogger has an array of outstanding jackets and coats that never fail to get the street photographers clicking.

This gold Daydream cape and Twisted Sisters tweed jacket are statements on their own and exactly what we can picture Ferragni swishing around in. It’s easy to do a The Blonde Salad look by wearing this dramatic Injury overcoat on its own as a dress paired with nothing else but tights and booties.

The on-trend extras

From left: Yesimfrench cropped tee, Mary Ching flats, McNelly oxfords

The crop top fad doesn’t seem to be going away soon and Ferragni has embraced it fully even in chilly New York weather – case in point, her ensemble at the recent Calvin Klein show. We like this easy-to-match Yesimfrench cropped tee.

While the blogger does love her high heels, Ferragni has been spotted recently in flats – she did collaborate with Italian sneaker line Superga previously. Jump on the flat shoe trend bandwagon in these Mary Ching leopard print ballet flats or McNelly lace up oxfords.
