Who’s the latest face of which brand, which supermodel is collaborating with which designer and the latest in model searches – we give you round up of what’s happening in the whirlwind universe of modelling.
Miranda Kerr for Reebok Skyscape shoes
The Australian supermodel lends her face – or rather her feet – for the campaign of Reebok’s new Skyscape shoes. Besides landing spot on the flat shoe trend bandwagon, the Skyscape shoe is super lightweight: it only weighs 0.5 ounces and is meant to mimic what walking on clouds should feel like. Plus, you can throw the shoes into the washing machine!
Kerr appears in the cheeky ad campaign wearing nothing more than a blanket and pink pair of Skyscape shoes but the sneakers also go easily with any casual outfit; you don’t have to be a supermodel to pull this look off!
The Reebok Skyscape shoes retail for $99 a pair and will be available from mid-April 2014 at Stadium Takashimaya S.C. and Royal Sporting House outlets at Tanglin Mall, Paragon, Great World City, Vivocity, Parkway Parade, Junction 8, Jurong Point, Tampines Mall, Northpoint, Causeway Point, Jem, Nex and BHG Bugis Junction.

Hemingway proves that she’s not just a pretty face and a famous last name with her latest project. Besides being appointed the global ambassador for American accessories brand Cole Haan, the beauty will also be lending her eye for design to the creative process of a capsule collection of footwear and bags. The word out on the street is that the model will help raise the brand’s profile as Cole Haan continues to expand into Asia.

Kate Upton for Express

While many may argue whether the buxom bombshell is truly “plus-sized”, it’s clear to see that Upton is no rake-thin model and is very comfortable with putting her curves on display. The Sports Illustrated cover girl continues to make her mark on the fashion industry. She has just been named as the face of American high street brand Express for its Autumn Winter 2014 campaign. Upton’s popularity reinforces the changing face of models: Earlier this year, IMG Models who manages the likes of Kate Moss and more, had also signed on five plus-sized girls.
