There are serums for almost everything, but rarely do you hear of a serum that specifically targets large pores. So when the people at GoodSkin labs launched the Pore-365 All Over Pore Reducing Serum, our pores paid attention.
For some reason, pore reducing skin-care is usually marketed as a spot treatment. So we were really pleased to discover that GoodSkin Labs is launching the Pore-365 as it’s a product for the entire face. I mean, pores do cover every inch of our faces right?
Through the use of special optics and active ingredients, the serum hopes to reduce the look of large pores over time. According to the company, the product contains light-scattering optics that refine the appearance of pores on the skin’s surface. It then uses salicylic acid to gently exfoliate and promote cell turnover rates, so that blackheads and impurities are removed from your pores – making them smaller in the process, according to GoodSkin Labs.
As the brand claims that oil is the main source of enlarged pores, the product also acts to reduce the amount of sebum in your skin over time. Using a combination of coconut and hydrolysed soy protein, the serum works to absorb excessive sebum, while a plant extract (siegesbeckia orientalis) and vitamin C derivative gives your skin collagen support. With this cocktail of oil absorbers, the serum also works well as a mattifying option for those with oily skin. Slather it on before your moisturiser, and you may well be on your way to smaller pores.
