Personal maternal complex aside, one of our favourite French prestige skincare brands has something special up its silky sleeves this Mother's Day: It's canvassing for photos and love notes from Mums and their girls, in return for a special treat at the prestige beauty brand’s pop-up boutique currently stationed outside Tangs Orchard.
Here’s how the Mother’s Day tie-in works. Drop the lovely folks at Lancôme Singapore a note telling them why you treasure your mother or daughter, and attach a snapshot of the both of you in one frame. (This is all done via Lancôme Singapore’s Facebook page, by the way, so you don’t have to part with a physical copy of your photo.)
In exchange for this very public display of familial affection, Lancôme says you’ll receive “special treatment” at the aforementioned Tangs Orchard pop-up, including an Advanced Génifique sampling kit worth $50 and a complimentary cosmetics makeover.
Neat, yes? The promo will run from May 6-11, 2014, just in time for a Mother’s Day outing with the leading lady in your life. Oh, and on M-Day itself (that’ll be May 11, if you’re not one for remembering dates), each mother-daughter duo will get to enjoy hamming it up at a special makeover and professional photoshoot.
