You know you can never have too many mascaras. Or eyeliners. Or eyebrow pencils. Yes, you get the drift. We were all squealing in delight when Eyeko announced its arrival in Singapore. The eye make-up brand from London is famous for its eyeliners and mascaras, and even counts model and fashionista Alexa Chung as a huge fan.
There are a million and one reasons why you need to get Eyeko’s mascaras. Despite not being water-proof, the brand promises that its mascaras will not smudge or flake through 12 hours of wear. Eyeko’s unique water-resistant formula is infused with keratin and shea butter, which is said to pump up your lashes and give them an extra burst of hydration.
My personal favourite is the limited edition Eye Do mascara. Created in collaboration with Alexa Chung, the mascara is said to promote lash growth while giving you fanned out lashes in a solid carbon black. The mascara contains botanical ingredients together with vitamins A and E, making sure your lashes are conditioned while still giving them volume and curl, according to the brand. And seriously, the chic name and packaging makes up for whatever doubts you’re still having about getting this eye beauty.
Another product that I love from this range is the brow gel. According to the brand, the award-winning formula has a lightweight gel texture that glides effortlessly onto your brows. Eyeko even claims that this gel will not smudge or stiffen even after long hours of wear, so you don’t have to worry about your drawn eyebrows smearing in Singapore’s humidity. If that isn’t enough, the formula is free of parabens and contains conditioning ingredients of ginkgo biloba and keratin. Giving your eyebrows an additional coat of growth if needed! What else can I say? These are some products with serious eye power.
