Before you think this is a tutorial on how to make your own hand soap, trust me, I’m not that good – I’m here to tell you about the new body and soap collection by Lux. I was very intrigued by this collection as the scent of each body wash was created by perfumers – the people that make those pretty bottles of spritzy goodness. Lux even hired Calice Becker, the perfumer that made J’adore by Christian Dior, to work on this new range.
This collection by Lux features five body washes that aim to leave your skin smelling like a world-class perfume. Using some of the best noses in the industry, Lux attempted to create the same “perfumed-quality” scent for women who use body washes. So with every shower, you’ll leave the house smelling like your best perfume.
The body washes mimic floral and fruity notes to give its user the illusion of wearing a multi-scented perfume. Lux says it does so by using quality ingredients such as French roses and mulberry extract. I’m no soap-making expert, but these ingredients do sound very delish.
What’s more, the body washes not only smell good but will supposedly leave your skin feeling super soft and luxurious. According to Lux, this body wash is infused with a blend of essential oils and silk proteins that will moisturise your skin with every lather.
