The Anna Sui Liquid Eyeliner retails for $33 and is available at all Anna Sui counters island-wide.
Truth be told, I’m not a fan of turn dials on eyeliner pens because I find they either don’t dispense enough product – making application jerky – or dispense too much, which results in too thick a line and a lack of proper control.
This one was slightly better as compared to some others I’ve tried but I’m not yet a complete convert.
After application, the eyeliner dried almost immediately, and I found that I could run my finger over the line within 30 seconds and not have it smudge everywhere.
I decided to test out how water-resistant this truly was and so kept it on even at the pool. To my surprise, the eyeliner stayed on even as I dipped my head in the water. No more raccoon eyes!
Removal was also simple. All I used was a cotton pad dipped in eye makeup remover and warm water to remove all traces of it.
The only grouse I have is that the black (which I tested) wasn’t as strongly pigmented as I would like it. To get my required level of darkness I had to go over the same area a couple of times.
Overall though, if you’re looking for an eyeliner that won’t budge upon application, this is a good one to invest in.
