Featuring unique collaborations and limited edition commemorative products, “Hello Kitty Con 2014 - The Fan Convention” in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, will provide an overview of the character over the decades.
Launched in partnership with retail chain Target, the convention will include a Hello Kitty vintage shop selling rare collectibles from the past in addition to a tattoo shop, art installations and a series of workshops and panel discussions.
A limited edition series of products, which will be available in Target stores from September 14, 2014, will also be on display.
In addition to the convention, the beloved cat character will also feature in a museum exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum in LA from this October.
