Of the many thoughts that may have run through your mind upon hearing of Whitney Houston’s passing, I’m sure shock, confusion and puzzlement were among the top three. While many websites and television shows have paid tribute to the life of one of the greatest voices ever, many of us are still not entirely clear on what led to this unfortunate incident.
On Friday, February 17 at 1pm, E! will present a news special chronicling the events leading up to and immediately after Houston’s untimely death in Whitney Houston: Last Days of a Legend.
Hosted by Giuliana Rancic, the feature will also reflect upon her magnificent career and tumultuous personal life, with insight and interviews from guests at the Beverly Hilton who interacted with Houston during the pre-Grammy festivities; and commentary from the last few people to have worked with Houston, such as singer, Kelly Price and Houston’s long-time musical director, Ricky Minor.
Viewers will also hear from Allison Samuels who was scheduled to interview the singer the day she died and had been waiting for her arrival.
Whitney Houston: Last Days of a Legend will share exclusive footage of what is thought to be the last time Houston was ever caught on camera - when she stopped by an E! interview taking place in the hotel a mere 48 hours before her death.
Take a glimpse into her prolific career and her public battle with addiction and honour the singer and shining musical inspiration that left this world too soon.
E! News Special: Whitney Houston: Last Days of a Legend will air on Friday, February 17 at 1pm on E! (StarHub Channel 441). Repeat telecasts will be shown on Friday, February 17, at 8.40pm, Saturday, February 18 at 11am and 6.40pm, and Sunday, February 19 at 10am and 7.40pm.
