1. MATCH
This 95-seat restaurant encourages guests to customise their own meals. Apart from main courses such as the 48-hour braised beef short rib ($34), diners can choose how they want their meat or fish main courses cooked.
For instance, the grain-fed ribeye ($58) can be charcoal-grilled or pan-roasted and the Norwegian salmon ($29) can be steamed, poached, charcoal-grilled or pan-roasted. Accompaniments include caramelised onion tart, roasted bone marrow and grilled zucchini.

2. SOI 60
New Thai restaurant and bar Soi 60 offers tipples such as cocktails, wines and spirits to go along with the food. On the menu are items such as green vegetable curry ($19), roast duck salad ($24), coconut panna cotta ($10) and sticky rice ($10) with mango and coconut cream.

3. E'SPUMA LAB
Foam takes centre stage on plates at this restaurant. Items on the menu include mains such as curry chicken with e'spuma potato foam ($6.80), sous vide eggs with smoked Norwegian salmon ($3.80) and the E'spuma Batter D24 Durian Fritters ($3.80 for five pieces) to end the meal.

4. DAILY JUICE
New 20-seat cold-pressed juice stall Daily Juice offers concoctions such as 'Sup Doc, containing a blend of carrot, pineapple, orange, lemon and turmeric; and Krypto, a cleansing and detoxifying juice with green apple, romaine lettuce, spinach, cucumber, lemon and parsley.
The stall also does deliveries, which are free within the Central Business District area (within five minutes' walking distance from shop), for a minimum order of $30. For other areas, delivery charges depend on the number of bottles ordered.
All juices cost $3.90 to $4.90 for 250ml and $6.90 to $7.90 for 500ml.

5. LEOPOLD
This 40-seat bistro-style tapas, cocktail and wine bar is owned by Klaus Leopold, a 22-year-old Austrian mixologist and chef. Offerings include the Leopold Rocket Burger ($18), which has a housemade beef patty, parmesan cheese, rocket leaves, tomatoes and a red onion and balsamic reduction. Signature cocktails include the Amber Bowl ($19), Mauritian agricole rum with apple juice, housemade vanilla and cinnamon syrup and housemade bitters.
