She ain't bossy, she's just a Boss babe
Good ol’ Gwynnie has an undeserved bad rep for being a tad uptight and prissy, what with her gluten-free obsession and that groan-inducing bit about “conscious uncoupling”.
I, on the other hand, am of the opinion that the 42-year-old yummy mummy of two is dreadfully misunderstood; besides, her performance in Shakespeare in Love was absolutely stellar, don’t you think.
Not convinced? Fashion folks out there may be swayed by designer darling Jason Wu himself, who’s apparently willing to put his life on the (clothing) line for Ms Paltrow, per press notes: “The Boss woman is all about success and powerful femininity, and those are the qualities that I see very much in Gwyneth Paltrow.”
Some context for Jason’s high praise: Gwyneth is the face of Boss’ new Ma Vie Pour Femme Eau de Parfum. The nubile sister of Boss’ beloved Boss Nuit, Ma Vie is a perfectly respectable perfume, by the way; lots of juicy green notes courtesy of cactus flower and fresh rose buds mixed in with warm woods and bracing cedar for a scent that’s soft, smooth and very likeable indeed.
In any case, judge for yourself in the intimate video interview below, in which the Boss Pour Femme face talks shop about all manner of revealing things, including a little bon mot which makes her seem more human and less robotic Stepford Wife.
P.S. Absolutely gorgeous lippie, Gwynnie. Anyone able to ID the shade? We need it in our lives!
