David Beckham festive light-up at Marina Bay Sands

SEE PHOTOS: Soccer star and Marina Bay Sands ambassador David Beckham ushered in an early Christmas surprise for some 200 youth and children at the integrated resort's Festive Light-up event on November 15, 2014. The young beneficiaries from the Association for Persons with Special Needs and the Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centres and Student Care Service, all designated charities under the Sands for Singapore program, were star-struck as Beckham himself fielded an up-close and personal Q&A session with them, accompanied by George Tanasijevich, President and Chief Executive Officer of Marina Bay Sands. The highlight of the evening was the Christmas light-up extravaganza at the Skating Rink, where Beckham launched the Festive display that turned the integrated resort into a merry Christmas palette of white, green and red lights.
