1. Kate Moss x Alexander McQueen: LOVE

Dayum, gurl. Those razor-sharp cheekbones are milking every second of their time on earth. See here the supermodel perfection of the smize (definition: smiling with your eyes), and I love that she looks like every bit the glamazon even in yellow hair and oily skin.
2. Nicole Kidman x Jimmy Choo: Whoa, LOVE
Nicole? Is that you?? She looks 10 years younger with that perfect blowout, half-pout and heel cocked at a 45-degree angle. And she looks AMAZING. This campaign for Jimmy Choo’s Pre-Autumn Winter 2014 campaign was reportedly shot with “a lot of great rock music to get in the mood for the shoot” – look how well that turned out.
3. Lupita Nyong’o x Miu Miu: Mmm, LOVE
This is Lupita’s year in fashion. As soon as the Hollywood starlet stepped out in that unforgettable ‘Nairobi blue’ Prada gown at the Oscars, everyone in the fashion world sat up. Shortly after, she appeared in Miu Miu’s Spring Summer 2015 campaign looking every bit the style star in candy-coloured separates.
4. Miley Cyrus x Marc Jacobs: Erm...
Casting this once Disney-approved singer is such a sticky decision these days what with her controversial antics. Recently, she Instagrammed a topless picture of herself which was promptly flagged and removed by the social media platform in minutes (true story). What’s even juicier is that Marc Jacobs’ trusty campaign photographer, Juergen Teller, flat-out refused to photograph this Spring ad as long as Miley was in it. #Drama. Eventually Jacobs’ beauty campaign photographer, David Sims, stepped up to the job instead.
5. Gisele Bundchen x Balenciaga: LOVE!
If you took a double take when you saw the picture, that’s exactly what the ad intended. The model in this campaign really is Gisele Bundchen, who is more familiarly associated with her beach babe locks. The question was, did the Brazilian supermodel really shave her hair for this ad? The answer: Nope, it’s actually photoshopped — but we now know how good she looks in a tomboyish buzzcut.
6. Romeo Beckham x Burberry: How can you not LOVE?
Arguably the best-looking Beckham kid stole the limelight from his famous parents when he appeared in a very festive Christmas ad in his second Burberry campaign. All he had to do was flash his innocent cherubic smile and hearts were melting everywhere.
7. Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne x Chanel: LOVE!
The duo starred in Karl Lagerfeld’s short film that was so dreamy and worthy of being made into a Disney movie. The film, called Reincarnation, is really about how Coco Chanel was inspired to create her classic little black jacket. Pharrell and Cara make such a romantic pair in this enthralling little musical number that watching it is like a dream you don’t want to wake up from.
8. Madonna x Versace: Sigh :(
The self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Pop’ has swooped in to replace Lady Gaga as the face of the campaign. Why, though, why?
9. Julia Roberts x Givenchy: LOVE!
“No smile, no makeup” was the order of the day. It was also creative director Riccardo Tisci’s intention rob the actress of her trademark megawatt smile to convey the message that this campaign was pure, authentic and simple. The effect was so powerful that even people who weren’t typically interested in fashion took notice.
10. Kimye x Balmain: OMG, hasn’t the world had enough of this couple already?
Anyone who’s savvy enough in the fashion industry (with the budget to spare) knows that the ‘Kimye’ is a lethal business hat trick containing KPI-exceeding abilities. Vogue’s April cover featuring ‘Kimye’, for instance, achieved 20 per cent more sales than its previous month’s cover featuring Rihanna. While it’s no wonder why the couple is being milked for all they are worth, it also drew substantial backlash on social media. Is it a sign that the world is getting tired of the couple already?
