Congratulations, Nadia Rahmat!
This 24-year-old Singaporean girl of Malay, Arab and Indian heritage gamely submitted her photo on Instagram in 2014 with the hashtag #castmemarc, and was chosen out of 50,000 people for a coveted spot in Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2015 ad campaign for Marc by Marc Jacobs.

These 11 lucky contestants were then flown to New York to shoot the ad campaign. See the rest of the campaign images here.
To bring things up to speed: There was a call for users to submit their photos via Instagram and Twitter back in September 2014 with the hashtag #CastMeMarc for a chance to star in Marc Jacobs’ Spring ads. The social media casting collected over a 100,000 entries as some users submitted multiple photos of themselves.
But one picture from @skinnykatwoman caught the eye of Marc By Marc Jacobs designers Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley.
Although Nadia is not a professional model, she has appeared in fashion campaigns for her fashion designer friends behind the Singapore labels Mash-Up and Yesah.
We are sooo excited to see her picture for Marc by Marc Jacobs to hit shop windows, aren’t you?
