Shu Uemura has invited jewellery and accessories designer Yazbukey to collaborate on its next makeup line, which is due in stores this May.

The Japanese brand continues to team with leading artists, but no two of its collaborative collections are alike. After joining forces with Karl Lagerfeld (or rather with his cat Choupette) and Mika Ninagawa, the cosmetics brand has paired with Paris-based designer Yazbukey for a makeup collection that is all about femininity, extravagance and joy.

Four beauty looks are matched with four female characters in the Shu Uemura x Yazbukey line, which is due out in May. The Japanese brand has revealed few details on the collection, except that there will be 34 products ranging from cleansing oils to makeup items.
"I firmly believe that makeup should bring out the personality of every woman. To express ours, we created four looks in collaboration with Yazbukey," said Kakuyasu Uchiide, international artistic director at Shu Uemura. "Chose your image and your favorite color in the same way you would choose your outfit every morning. Without a doubt, you will discover a new and remarkable side of your personality to share." -- AFP Relaxnews
