Want glowing, luminous skin? Then make sure you cleanse, cleanse, cleanse.
That’s the advice of celebrity makeup artist Jackie Tyson who has worked her skincare magic on the likes of Lily Allen and Sienna Miller.
“Good cleansing is the basis of good skin and this in turn makes your makeup look much better,” Jackie told Cover Media.
Here are some of Jackie’s top cleansing tips.
Buff up
I start my cleansing routine in the shower where it’s easier to use messy exfoliators. A gentle exfoliator such as Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant will leave all skin types glowing.
Get foaming
My other favourite cleanser is Decleor Aroma Cleanse. It’s gorgeous and comes with a muslin cloth to give a very gentle exfoliation, which doesn’t leave your skin feeling too dry.
Brush up
To boost your cleansing routine, the Clarisonic electric brush really gets skin super clean. I got one for Christmas and my skin has never looked better. You can use this with any kind of cleanser but, again, I recommend you use it in the shower and rinse the skin well afterwards.
Turn back the clock
If you are having trouble finding a cleanser for your age group check out the Avon range which has very age specific skincare lines which are fantastic value for money. The Anew Reversalist Foaming Cleanser is a great option. © Cover Media
