Instead of changing your outfit from day to night, why not update your eye makeup instead?

Changing up the colours you use on your eye can instantly bring your from a work meeting to a night out on town with your girlfriends.

Lancome knows just that and they’ve introduced a whopping 22 new eyeshadow shades for you to choose from.

The Ombre Hypnose Mono Eyeshadow, $36, is available in 22 different hues, with the shades  split up into three different colour intensities – light, medium and intense.

Seven of the shades are sand, pink and blonde tones, which create a soft halo of light on the eyelid. These shades are the lightest of the lot and are perfect for when you want to appear fresh in the day.

The violet, blue and turquoise hues are right on the money, if you want to appear chic and sophisticated, with pops of bright colours, great for making an impression.

Headed out for the night? Opt for deep and glamorous shades like emerald, deep violet and chocolate for the ultimate smokey eye.

Now, it’s all up to your creativity on how you would like to mix and match the shades to achieve your favourite look. All shades also contain Pro-Xylane, an anti-ageing active ingredient.

What good will eyeshadows be, if your peepers appear sleepy and droopy? Open them up with Lancome’s best-selling mascara - Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Waterproof, $50, which is now a new waterproof formulation.

Said to have a 24-hour hold, the long-lasting formula is welcome news for those with extremely oily lids. Sweep your lashes with the patented Doll Eyes brush for maximum volume.

For those of you who are easily affected by the scent of mascaras, this is reportedly one of the first mascaras that is formulated with ultra-feminine floral notes from Turkish Rose and Magnolia.

To complete your look, try the Plume Liner, $42. The jet-black finish as well as long and soft brush allows makeup junkies to create lines of different thickness. Getting that cat-eye and winged tip look will now be a breeze. Plus, it’s said to be extremely long-wearing, lasting more than six hours without smudging.

Before summer is over, you may also want to get your hands on the new limited edition Doll Eyes Palette, $84. The wide-eye, innocent look is now achievable with the radiant smoothing eye-shadow quad with equally adorable names – Baby Romance, Rose Doll and Vert Doll.

The above items are available at all Lancome beauty counters from August, 1.
