Singer Rihanna is following from the success of debut scent Reb'l Fleur with her second fragrance, Rebelle by Rihanna. The perfume, which features notes of strawberry, ginger, and plum, will launch at US department store Macy's early December, with distribution later being expanded to Europe and Latin America. Prices start at US$30 for a body lotion and $US49 for an eau de parfum spray.

Daphne Guinness for MAC

Artist and prominent haute couture collector Daphne Guinness' make-up line for cosmetics giant MAC will be released in US stores December 26 before its international rollout in January 2012. Daphne was said to have been inspired by "pigeon's blood" and "how the intricate wings of a butterfly resemble the images of deepest space" when creating the 24-piece line, which includes blushes, eyeliners and deep red lipsticks.
