Dara, Minzy, CL and Bom - if these names ring a bell, you’re probably familiar with the biggest hip-hop girl band in Korea, 2NE1.
Fans of the band will be more than stoked to find out that the foursome will be bringing their world tour to our sunny island.
Titled New Evolution Global Tour 2012, the concert will be the starting point of the band’s quest for world domination, which will begin right here.
They are set to visit 10 cities in seven countries across Asia, America and Europe.
Known for their energetic performances, slick dance moves and powerful vocals, 2NE1 have been described by Billboard as “a force to be reckoned with”. This might also be the same reason why Will.I.Am from Black Eyed Peas has collaborated with them on a number of tracks and even made a surprise appearance at their show in LA in August.
With their immense talent and exploding popularity, combined with an elaborate set – all put together by world-famous choreographer Travis Payne (who used to work with the late Michael Jackson) , you can be guaranteed of nothing less than a mind-blowing performance, come December.
