We all dream of being like Alicia Florrick — Gardner’s main love interest in the show. Our hearts are a collective puddly mess over how romantic it is that the ex-player and viciously ambitious Gardner would devote himself entirely to the woman he never forgot from law school. We’re complete suckers for strong, macho types who struggle with their vulnerable emotions, before finally surrendering to them. The couple may have broken up for now, but to that we say “Objection!”; a romance like theirs should deserve to last.
