The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant.
The piece of news that everyone has been waiting for, is now true and was announced by St James's Palace on behalf of the Middleton and her husband Prince William.
The duchess is currently warded in King Edward VII Hospital in central London for a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute morning sickness, which requires supplementary hydration and nutrients.
As Middleton is in the early stages of her pregnancy, she is said to have to stay in the hospital for several days, “and will require a period of rest thereafter.” Prince William is by his wife’s side at the hospital.
The palace released a statement that said, “The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
The child, whether boy or girl, will eventually be heir to the British throne according to new legislation awaiting final approval, now third in line, after Prince Charles and Prince William.
