There's a buzz forming for nails inspired by American culture and New York City's style, from the catwalk to the sidewalk, is the inspiration behind some of the hottest nail lacquers coming in 2013. | Sitcom style In January two nail lines will launch that are inspired by hit TV shows, New York City based show Girls and Modern Family. Deborah Lippmann has created a four shade nail polish set that reflects each character from hit HBO comedy drama Girls. Each eclectic cast member takes on a different nail colour, so Hannah, is a “Hapless Hunter Green”, Marnie is “Prim and Proper Pink”, Shoshanna is “Virtuous Vivid Violet” and Jessa is “Bohemian Burgundy”. Similarly Nicole by OPI is launching 14 new nail shades inspired by ABC's award-winning Modern Family TV show. The colours are just as bright and flamboyant as the cast, with quirky names such as “I Do De-Claire!”, “She’s Lily Somethin”, “Stand by Your Manny”, “Basking in Gloria”, and “My Jay or the Highway”. |
