This nail polish design was created by Ms Katie Hughes, the global colour ambassador for Butter London. She is often found backstage at the New York and London Fashion Weeks decorating models' nails for designers such as Altuzzara, ICB by Prabal Gurung, Libertine, The Band Of Outsiders and The Row.
You will need the Butter London Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat ($28), nail lacquers in beige Cuppa, pink Trout Pout, lilac Molly-Coddled, coral Kerfuffle, yellow Jasper, blue Artful Dodger ($24 each) and Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat ($28).
Butter London will be available at Sephora stores, including #01-05 Ion Orchard, from March 21.
| STEP 1: Apply a layer of Nail Foundation to protect your nails and to help the nail lacquers glide on more easily. |
| STEP 2: Spread two layers of Cuppa evenly on each finger. |
| STEP 3: Apply a single strip of pastel colour on the middle of the nails. For the prettiest combination, paint Trout Pout on the pinky, Artful Dodger on the ring finger, Kerfuffle on the middle finger, Jasper on the index and Molly-Coddled on the thumb. |
| STEP 4: Finish with a layer of Top Coat so the polish will last longer. On average, it can last you about a week. |
