Review: My colleagues know me as the girl with multiple bottles of hand sanitisers on her desk; and someone who’s frequently misting her keyboard with a sanitising spray, but what can I say? I love feeling clean.

Being the clean freak that I am, I was excited to try out this product. It seemed to be a hand sanitiser and a hand cream rolled into one - cleaning hands without leaving your skin dry and shrivelled up.

I squeezed a pea-sized amount onto the palms of my hands and the first thing that hit me was its scent - heady notes of bergamot, petit grain and neroli made a sharp and woody fragrance that stayed on my hands even after multiple washes.

I would imagine that this is a scent that not all would fancy, so I’d recommend giving it a whiff to make sure it is not too overpowering for your liking. It does, however, do what it claims to do; and masks unpleasant odours effectively.

The hand cream left a cooling sensation to the skin, which was a nice respite, given the heat we’ve been experiencing in Singapore lately.

It felt slightly sticky after application, but dried to a velvety finish within a minute. The light formula is great for women who need a cream that absorbs quickly into the skin. Some creams, while nourishing, take much longer to absorb and leave you unable to do anything for fear of leaving greasy handprints on the surface of objects you come into contact with. This is not one of them, and it is something I appreciate.

My skin felt smoother, but my hands still felt slightly dry. It was not as moisturising as I had wished. It was certainly less drying than the average hand sanitiser, but is less nourishing than a hand cream.
