The clothing label Superdry has entered the cosmetics game with a range of beauty products. Extending their line for Spring, the Superdry makeup will include natty nail colours and a nail refinery kit for an ultimate DIY manicure. The industrial and retro-cool packaging contains on-trend high performance nail varnishes. The thick formula means one coat provides good coverage. All the usual metallic twists and neon silicone detailing expected from the biggest beauty brand's nail collections today are also included in the reasonably priced range. In April, Rimmel will introduce a new and improved Lycra® nail polish collection called Salon Pro that contains 30 shades devised to help give a gel-like salon manicure finish at home. Ten of these cutting-edge colours have been devised in collaboration with supermodel and style icon Kate Moss.
Kate's design collaboration was inspired by her passion for London’s vibrant music scene. She explained what to expect from her fierce spectrum of funky nail colours when they launch.
“Creating my ten shades of Rimmel Salon Pro nail colour was such fun, the collection has a shade that works for all your looks. As with music, different colours suit different moods which is why I think the names work so well. At the moment I’m loving ‘Hip Hop’ – it’s a vibrant orangey-red that really stands out,” Kate explained.
Beauty brand Models Own are launching a new nail polish collection, Ice Neon in March. This super-cool new line features eye-wateringly bright fluorescent neon shades that are designed to be kept refrigerated, to maintain colour and prevent pigment cracking. The varnishes are contained in frosted bottles to withstand the cold and to protect those perfect pigments from fading. The collection consists of five shades; Pukka Purple, Bubblegum, Pink Punch, Luis Lemon and Toxic Apple. © Cover Media
