Luxury fashion e-tailer Net-a-porter has added beauty products to its online offerings. It launched The Quintessential Edit, its beauty pages on www.net-a-porter.com, on Wednesday.
Brands available include niche, upscale ones such as Beauty Works West and James Read from Britain; American labels Chantecaille and Le Metier de Beaute; and Ilia from Canada.
The range includes make-up, skincare, haircare, nail polish and fragrances. Prices start from US$35 (SG$44) for Chantecaille's Lip Chic, a lipstick and gloss hybrid, to US$500 for a Joya Ames Soeurs solid perfume.
Ms Alison Loehnis, Net-a-porter's managing director, told Women's Wear Daily the move is to give shoppers beauty options to complete their fashion buys.
