The Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo has hired young English singer-songwriter Tom Odell and Hollywood starlet Dakota as the faces of its Spring 2014 collection.
Dakota Fanning, known for her roles in War of the Worlds and the Twilight saga, was picked alongside Tom Odell as the face of the brand's latest campaign.
The pair show off the collection's soft, comfortable fabrics including linen and Supima cotton, AIRism innerwear, shirting and denim.
"Uniqlo is proud to partner with these young and talented artists for our spring 2014 collection advertising campaign," said Larry Meyer, CEO of Uniqlo USA and fast retailing group senior vice president. "We are very happy Dakota and Tom will showcase our newest lines all across the world."
Odell is an old hand when it comes to the fashion world, having played his song "Another Love" at the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Spring Summer 2013 show. Currently touring with Billy Joel, the Brit award-winning singer (he picked up last year's Critics' Choice award) has now sold over a million records.
Alongside her work as an actress (with two movies Night Moves and Franny soon to hit theaters), Fanning is also a UN ambassador for the Ending Hunger campaign. - AFP RELAXNEWS
