According to rumours, the young British designer Jonathan Saunders will be helping relook the fashion legend Paul Smith's womenswear line.
According to unconfirmed reports across the fashion press, Jonathan Saunders is set to help Sir Paul Smith as a consultant on the designer's women's collection.
The British Fashion Award winner (Emerging Talent Award - Menswear 2012) and the recipient of the 2012 BFC/Vogue Designer Fund would work on the Paul Smith women's ready-to-wear collection that is stocked in the brand's 300 stores around the world.
Like Smith, Saunders is known for his bright yet restrained color palettes, and the Glasgow-born designer has dressed some big names including Michelle Obama, who wore a sleeveless black dress from Saunders' Autumn Winter 2008 collection to a 2011 White House dinner celebrating Women's History Month. He has also previously collaborated with high-street fashion labels Topshop and Target on capsule collections.
We're still awaiting confirmation of the news from the brands. - AFP RELAXNEWS
