Jeans may be a wardrobe staple but that doesn’t mean that denim is boring. In fact, brands are constantly developing and evolving their denim lines so it’s not unusual to step into a store and discover a new jeans style or technology incorporated into a pair of blues.
We rounded up the latest in denim hitting a Singapore store near you soon.
Levi’s Coolmax collection
The denim giant will launch an innovative collection specifically designed to combat sweltering hot weather – we guess they heard about the Singapore climate. Levi’s has developed Coolmax fibres that create a cooling effect and also promotes proper body ventilation. These fibres will be incorporated into both denim and non-denim styles.
Prices start from $89.90 and the Levi’s Coolmax collection will be available at all Levi’s stores and authorised retailers from April 1, 2014.
New Topshop denim styles
The Girlfriend is the latest style to join the Topshop stable of jeans. With a full force of seven styles and a multitude of washes and colours, the high street label looks set to conquer the denim market. Leigh, Joni and Jaime provide different rises and lengths for the skinny jean lover while those who unabashedly prefer a looser fit will find their perfect denim in the Mom and Hayden boyfriend styles.
Available at all Topshop stores and prices start from $69.
Denizen Spring Summer 2014 pastel pieces
Pastel hues are a big trend this season and have even encroached into denim territory. Denizen’s latest Spring Summer 2014 collection sees pastels making a huge impact with denim jeans and minis going the way of light pinks, mint greens and more – great for the trendy fashionista.
Available at all Denizen stores.
