You might not have to head down to the nail salon to get your nails done, well at least for the month of March. Watsons is launching its first mobile truck – teaming up with different companies to feature their latest products and services.
This month, Maybelline’s ColorShow steals the spotlight. Featuring a kaleidoscope of nail polish across its exterior, the bright strokes make the bus really hard to miss. Inside, visitors can find the full range of the brands cosmetics, as well as certain discounts unavailable at your regular Watsons store. What I was pleasantly pleased to find however, was a dedicated manicure corner as well. If I wasn’t on the job, I certainly wouldn’t mind getting my nails coloured red.
If a moving bus isn’t quite your thing, perhaps the stationary i-kiosk will interest you. Jumping on the bandwagon in the expansion of social media platforms, the brand’s new innovation hopes to get users to share their snapshots of themselves in-store, online. The i-kiosk allows users to take photos of themselves and send it to friends as well as to social media platforms. With this new innovation, users will also be able to get the latest in-store promotions. The i-kiosk will be featured in selected Watsons stores, with the first one being launched in Takashimaya last week.
The location of Watsons on Wheels and i-kiosks will be announced on their Facebook page. For more information, visit www.watsons.com.sg.
